Orange has always been the colour everyone tries to avoid since it's so bright yet difficult to pair but it seems things have taken a turn. Orange is one of the season's favourite hues and I'm talking beauty and fashion. It may have something to do with the fact that it's good for colour blocking. From the shocking to warm corals, I'm loving it!

Turbans and the Beach

I stumbled on this colourful shoot for May 2011 Russian Vogue and couldn't get enough of it. There's something about one-piece swimsuits that gives off sophistication. I don't know what it says but I love the wild, tribal look- bold prints and jewellery, turbans, leopard print, snake skin all against subtle makeup. They couldn't have used a better model. Alonso's stare is so hypnotising, love it.
